This month I had another great opportunity to dust of my black tie attire for a commission shooting Nottingham Law School’s student gala dinner and awards ceremony. Organised by the LEX Student Law Society, the committee wanted some high quality reportage shots of the evenings’ events, which included a drinks reception, awards ceremony and live entertainment including a live band and racy performance from the NTU Burlesque Society. With the Law Student’s finest suits and frocks on display, it was a great opportunity for some really nice portraiture and, to make the guests feel really special, we constructed a red carpet style photography area, just to the side of the main event. The students were free to come over at any point during the evening to get pictures with their friends and all the images were available for students to download free of charge from the Client Area of my website. The evening was a great success and Chloe, one of the organisers from the LEX society, was kind enough to email this feedback… “Having a professional photographer and the studio set up really added something to the event and it was great having you there”
